The owner was lovely and helpful, and the building was modern and clean. It was hot, though, and we couldn’t use the AC in the room. The shower was a bit old-fashioned, but definitely clean. Just be aware that the room price doesn’t include tax, and paying by card costs an extra €2. That felt a bit weird in 2023 😅

The owner was friendly and chatty, which was the best part of our stay. Our room was basic but did the job, and courtyard parking is limited. It’s about a 3 minute drive to the beach or 15 up to Agrigento. Nothing remarkable, but perfectly adequate.

The owner was kind, but the villa felt dated and old. The courtyard was neglected, the outdoor areas didn’t seem well maintained, and there were loads of mosquitoes.

There was no breakfast, and the bars aren’t right down the street. For €54 a night in April, you can find better. The bathroom was extremely dirty and covered in hair, and so were the headboard and sheets. If it hadn’t been the middle of the night, I would have run away from all that filth. When I told the owner in the morning, he wasn’t the least bit upset.
