A traumatic stay. The place was really dirty, and our beds weren’t made when we arrived. It was very hot at night, the air conditioner didn’t work, and there were no fly screens on the windows. The pool was full of dead insects, and we had to clean it ourselves. A young Romanian woman seemed to be left to do everything while the owner was never around. She also came into the accommodation while guests were out, and not to clean. The location is so remote that my phone only worked for emergency calls. Absolutely no internet or Wi-Fi. Worst experience ever.

He doesn’t speak English at all, so I couldn’t get the information I needed. Disappointed.

Lovely spot for a summer holiday in Sicily.

We had a good time as a group of 12 and enjoyed being together in the villa. The views are breathtaking, and there’s plenty to do: barbecue, pool table, another pool table, and foosball. All the bathrooms had been renovated recently and were clean and attractive. The sheets smelled fresh, which is rare on my vacations, and the house was really clean. The drive up was a bit difficult, though it was all paved, and not as bad as I’d expected after reading some complaints. There are some things that need attention. The kitchen is in disrepair, some chairs are broken, and there isn’t much cutlery. The shower panels in every bathroom need adjusting so they don’t come off. It’s a shame, because with a little work this could be perfect. We stayed in the villa for 12, and there are two other villas as well. We were there for three days at the end of August.
