The food was good, and I really liked the place. It is very pink, though, almost overwhelming: the tablecloths, walls, curtains, even the waitress's hair. It felt like walking into an '80s girly bedroom. Maybe that's part of its charm and some people love it. To each their own.

The homemade bread alone is worth a visit, and the portions are generous. We found the prices very reasonable for the quality, too. Maso delle Rose has a welcoming, well-kept feel and a surprising sense of peace. The food is excellent, with traditional dishes made from authentic ingredients. One of those places that makes you wonder why you hadn't come sooner. Highly recommended for a quiet, relaxing stay.

The carpaccio was amazing, and that's the dish I'd recommend most. Everything else was lovely too, from the food quality to the wonderful kindness of the people working there. I haven't eaten this authentically or this well in ages. The place itself is beautiful, and I felt at home as soon as I walked in. Truly top-notch, highly recommended, and worth it.
