B&B Vistamare Suite

The B&B itself is nice, but the beach is far away, and reaching it means climbing around a hundred very steep steps. Reviews aren’t always accurate and can definitely affect our choices. I wouldn’t come back. A.D.L.

Free parking is available, and breakfast is brought to your room at the time you choose. Each person gets two drinks and two items of their choice. The room has a lovely terrace overlooking the sea, with an awning, sofa, loungers, and a table with chairs. Inside, it’s spacious, well furnished, and cleaned meticulously every day, with every comfort. Highly recommended, it has it all!

The terrace has a breathtaking view, and the room is quiet and just steps from the historic center. Staff I spoke to by phone were very kind and helpful, check-in was online so I could arrive whenever, and breakfast was good and plentiful. Still, for the price, which wasn’t exactly cheap, I expected more attention to a few things. The top floor room was warm, and the air conditioning only worked on heat, not cool. There were dead ants all over the room and bathroom, plus a few live ones. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The fridge was switched on but barely cooler than room temperature. Two other rooms where couples stayed that night had fridges that barely cooled too, so I assume mine hadn’t just broken the day before. There was no iron or ironing board, even though they were listed in the room description, and a hook for towels would have been useful. I arrived around midnight and thought it was too late to call about the air conditioning, so I kept the window slightly open instead. Given the mostly positive reviews, I guess I was unlucky, at least with the cleanliness.

I had a wonderful weekend with my family. The central location and stunning sea view made waking up lovely. The property was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was served in the room each morning. I recommend it to everyone.
