There’s a good bar and restaurant just a few steps away, and you can catch a bus into downtown Florence. We arrived late for our scheduled time but were greeted and shown around promptly. I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it highly.

We had a great stay in this very spacious, comfortable apartment. I do wish there had been a place to leave our luggage at the accommodation. Instead, we paid 18€ at the train terminal to store three suitcases for six hours.

The main drawback was parking, which was hard to find and not free. Otherwise, Alloggi Palmini made a stylish, roomy base for exploring Florence, close to the city centre. There’s a lovely garden, and a great inexpensive restaurant about 100m away.

We stayed in the three-bedroom apartment, which was reasonably priced. The courtyard was lovely in the evenings for candlelit dinners, and just around the corner we found a pizzeria, deli, cafe, and fruit shop. The place is outside Florence in San Jacopino, but the bus stop is so convenient that getting into Florence was easy.

The apartments are very nice, though a fair way from the city centre. While the tramway works were going on, bus 22 was the only bus serving the area, and the ride could get crowded.
