Cilentia B&B

The breakfast was varied, plentiful, and good quality, easily rivalling a hotel's. What really deserves more than five stars, though, is how courteous and helpful Mrs. Albertina and her son Daniel are. The property is modern and has all the comforts, set amid greenery and quiet in the hills of Agropoli. It’s in a very handy spot, just a few minutes by car from the San Marco coastline or about ten minutes from beautiful Trentova Bay on easy local and provincial roads.

The only thing I can tease Daniel about is that he couldn't get us a booking for Ferragosto because everything was sold out! Congratulations to him, and thanks to both owners for such a lovely weekend. My wife and I had a great time at B&B Cilentia, and I’ll definitely stay there again when I’m in Agropoli. The rooms are spectacular, the views are enchanting, and it’s a real pleasure to stay here. Daniel is an exceptional guy, and his mother is a wonderful woman. See you soon!

The access road is a little inconvenient, but by car you can get to both the coast and inland areas in just a few minutes, which makes it easy to enjoy the area. This room was a last-minute find and very good value. It was lovely and clean, with a very comfortable ensuite bathroom, and the owners were kind and helpful. I’d recommend it for a romantic weekend.

The only thing in its favor is that this new building is clean. The road is awful, more like a mule track than an accessible route, and the entrance lock is faulty, so be ready for several attempts to get in. The room lacks basic household items. There’s no chest of drawers in the wardrobe, no desk, and no suitcase stand. The bathroom has no bidet, just storage shelves above the sink, and there’s only one hook in the shower for bathrobes. Breakfast was disappointing too, with brioches or croissants left on the buffet table the night before for the next morning. The managers have something valuable here but don’t know how to make the most of it. I’ll leave it at that.
