The B&B is close to Agropoli port and only a few minutes’ walk from the main square. The room was a normal size, with nice towels, bathroom, and bedroom. There was mosquito protection in the room, so no need to worry about them. Outside the room there’s a shared dining area with a TV, and the B&B also has a garden with tables and seats. Agropoli isn’t an expensive place, so I definitely recommend this option.

The harbour and Centro are both an easy walk away. Our host was fantastic and went out of his way to help us with advice. On the weekend there can be some traffic and party noise, which you’d expect so close to the port and Centro. I always keep earplugs in my shave bag.

It’s easy to explore Agropoli on foot from this centrally located place, and we loved the atmosphere, the comfortable room, and how clean everything was. The balcony was lovely for breakfast, which had lots of options. If you’re lucky, they may even offer you a tasty tiramisù. Parking was on the very steep road right outside, next to the property. We always found a spot during our two-night stay, but that isn’t guaranteed. The road is open and bends right there, so I’m not sure I’d want to leave an expensive car outside.

Maddalena and Maria Carla are wonderful people, and they alone make a stay here worthwhile. Simona served us a great breakfast on the terrace, and her pear and rosemary jam is unforgettable. Our room was simple but did the job. From the property you can walk to Agropoli’s historic center and the best beaches nearby. If I could give it six stars, I would. It really feels like home, even on holiday.
