The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked well, but the ventilation was poor. Finding the place wasn’t easy, and the owner is often away, so keep his phone number handy in case nobody answers the door. The owner speaks Italian and only very basic English. You also need a 20 Cent coin for the elevator up to the 4th floor, then you get a key. Breakfast was edible, but a joke. It’s near the station, though on the wrong side of Piazza Garibaldi, which means walking through unpleasant street markets. Overall, it’s only adequate accommodation.

I was there for 2 days in November 2019. The hotel was well located and the room had air conditioning, though there was no WiFi in the room. For the price, it was the best choice.

Everything felt filthy, and it was the worst stay. The room and bathroom were cold, the blankets were dirty, there was no hot water, and breakfast was lousy. We stayed for 2 days. On the second day there were no towels or soap, and after asking 3 times, they finally brought them and told us to shut up, saying we were in their house. The Internet didn’t work in the room either.
