The staff are polite, professional, and very helpful. Their English is very good, so communication was easy. It’s a small, friendly place, and the hotel itself is beautiful, with an amazing new spa. There are a few teething problems for now, but they should be sorted out before long.

The rooms are beautiful and updated, set in an old Italian villa, and the people here are lovely. Both suites had huge, gorgeous bathtubs, and each had two separate rooms with big beds. The air conditioning was in every room, and in the suites each room had its own controls. It cooled the rooms so quickly and powerfully that I had to put on a sweatshirt! We stayed in both the Fouco suite and the Aqua suite. The Fouco has a round bed, TVs in both rooms with only Italian channels, and a large jetted tub. The Aqua also has TVs with Italian channels in both rooms, and a heart-shaped jetted tub for two in the second room, with a hand spray for your hair or rinsing off. Each room has a small fridge with minibar items like juice, pepsi, and wine. The wifi is free, but honestly it kept cutting out, so we eventually got a portable hotspot, which is pretty reasonable if you’ll be traveling in Italia for a while. In one room, the round bed meant for romance had dark chocolates and silk rose petals scattered on it. It was a lovely touch for the atmosphere, though unnecessary for me. The bed itself felt a bit hard to me, but everyone’s different. I found the non-round beds very comfortable. Parking for guests is covered and monitored by camera. There are wonderful local restaurants too. Try Trattoria Trita Pepe, about 15 minutes away according to Google Maps. We had dinner there, then came back to our awesome room to watch a show and snuggle in. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Halanus Hotel is fantastic, and the people are so kind. Give it a chance to wow you, you won’t be disappointed.

The Spa Suite terra is private, so you can enjoy the spa with just your partner and no one else. It was the best suite I’ve ever stayed in. A wonderful place to relax with someone you love.

The food is delicious, really well prepared, and excellent quality. The people are caring and make an effort to get exactly what you want. It’s an amazing restaurant, and you can’t go wrong having lunch or dinner here.
