Ca' del Mare

The location is fantastic, and the price matched what was offered. We booked through Booking.com, and the owner was very kind. Our room was nice and well kept, with a fridge, elevator, and reliable Wi-Fi. There was air conditioning, though I didn't use it. The TV was small, but who really needs one? Breakfast was simple, good, and fairly generous. It was handy to leave our bags after checkout, with the keys kept at a nearby business.

The central spot near the sea was the one good thing about this stay. What was described on Booking.com didn't match what we found: the room was dirty, the bathroom had no supplies, the toilet fittings were broken, and it was blocked. At 3 a.m. the bathroom started flooding. The staff were friendly, though they didn't help much. The air conditioning only had hot water, and there were no mosquito screens. Breakfast was practically nothing, and the value for money was really poor.

We found Alassio peaceful and pleasant, and the Italians charming. It's a town worth discovering, especially at Christmas. The place itself was welcoming, simple, clean, and quiet, right by the shopping streets and the sea. The owners were very helpful, and I'd highly recommend staying here. Merry Christmas!

The staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful that I'd gladly come back and recommend the place to anyone who enjoys the finer things in life. My apartment was in the center of Alassio, tucked into a beautiful alley, with the sea below. I could hear it lulling me all night from my room. Breakfast had a nice variety, too. A little paradise, well deserving of an A+.
