The location was excellent, and the room was the right size for three. Reception was mostly absent, even by phone. At night, the entrance light sensor switched on with the slightest movement when we went to the bathroom, which was annoying. The bathroom leaked, and I reported it to the owner several times without hearing back. On arrival, my wife found long black hairs in the shower tray and sink. The cleaning lady took care of them when we left. The kettle in the photo was covered in dust, unused and apparently never cleaned. The outside area wasn't looked after either: dry plants, sofas as we found them, and the constant drip from the air-conditioning motor onto the awning. When we asked where the port was because we'd booked an excursion, the owner scolded us, saying that boat couldn't make that trip or get close to the coast. I asked why he was telling me instead of the relevant authorities. I'll leave it there.

I couldn't make the stay because of circumstances outside my control, but the owner went out of his way to help me. He listened to what I needed and found a way to accommodate me, though he had no obligation to do it and could easily have refused. His kindness, generosity, understanding, and honesty saved my summer, and I'm sincerely grateful. Those qualities feel rare in this beautiful but chaotic industry. I've seen the negative reviews about his attitude, but I don't believe a grumpy person would have helped me with my problem. Of course, everyone's experience is different. Thanks again, and I hope I can visit soon.

The only thing going for this place is the location. We had a nightmare of a night: bugs in the bedroom and bathroom, dirty sheets with hair and stains, a filthy bathroom that was mostly broken, brown hot water, a refrigerator that didn't work, and dirt everywhere. The property is run down and neglected, and the price asked for what's offered is outrageous. Sleeping in the car nearby would have been cleaner and more comfortable. The owner was absent and disorganized. Online check-in was listed for 2 PM, but by phone he said after 3:30. At 3 PM the room still wasn't ready, with no communication, welcome, or professionalism. This place doesn't deserve a star, let alone three. Non-existent service, poor hygiene, and a dilapidated building. Avoid it.

This is a guesthouse, so breakfast isn't included. Still, we had a great stay and would recommend it for a relaxing, independent holiday. It's on the main road close to the beach, with a large, comfortable room, private bathroom, and small patio. We picked up croissants and pastries from the bakery across the street and had breakfast outside; coffee is available on site.
