Artemide Hotel

Everyone provided outstanding service, and a special thank you to Erica. We had a wonderful stay: the hotel and rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the beach and main street were only a five-minute walk away.

The staff were kind and happy to help arrange things around the area, and the hotel is conveniently close to both the beach and Main Street. The rooms are spacious, modern, and updated, with bathrooms stocked with supplies. Breakfast is free and had enough variety that it never got boring. Highly recommend!

The hotel is in a great spot, very close to the beach, and parking was easy. Our room was super clean and the terrace was lovely. Most of all, the staff made us feel at home from the first day. The service was amazing and everyone was wonderful. Highly recommend!!

My wife and I found bed bugs in our bed. We were awake all night, itching and feeling like things were crawling on us. At 1am we changed the sheets and showered, but the itching kept going. We left at 4am after finding little black dots all over the sheets, bathroom floor, and sink, showered again, and took our things out of the room. We slept in the car, then returned at 8 as the front desk had told us to do to see the manager. Instead, we were told to go have breakfast while they spoke to the owner. At breakfast I overheard another family say they had been itching all night too. We spoke to them quietly about what we’d found, without alerting or alarming the other guests. We did that because bed bugs can spread easily and are hard to remove from clothes and bedding. They could carry them to another hotel or home, where fabric furniture might have to be thrown away and clothes washed at 60°. We had to book somewhere else because simply sweeping, changing the sheets, and leaving a window open doesn’t get rid of bed bugs, and we didn’t want to risk spreading them further. The owner didn’t seem to understand how serious the problem was, refused to compensate us for the two nights we had left even though we hadn’t slept through the first night, and was rude to my wife, saying we were making it up despite the photos and videos we sent. I hope the hotel takes the severity of this seriously, because it could deeply affect future guests. We were extremely disappointed and stressed during our honeymoon.
