I called Hotel Nuovo Al Mare on a whim, and the receptionist was so warm and helpful. That first impression carried through the whole experience, the service was great and the atmosphere welcoming. I'm happy with my visit and look forward to staying here again! ⭐⭐⭐

The staff are exceptionally nice, but the rooms are cramped and in bad shape, with a loose tile and sagging beds. We checked in during the July heat after confirming we had an air-conditioned room, only to find out five minutes later that the air conditioning was broken throughout the entire hotel. With the noisy back alley and the heat, we had to leave the window open and got bothered by mosquitoes. We haven't slept at all. The staff are very nice, but all they can say is they “hope” it gets fixed today.

The beach is right nearby, and there are lots of restaurants along the road. The hotel itself is good, though prices on public booking sites seem pretty expensive.

On June 18, the air conditioning wasn't working. The owners didn't seem bothered by the heat, but what about the guests? I wouldn't recommend this place.
