The place itself made for a miserable stay. The furniture is falling apart, and the appliances are noisy, broken, or unreliable, with brands most people probably haven't heard of. Only one room has air conditioning, and without a sewer connection the drain has to be emptied every day. The bathrooms are in awful shape, with tubs that have been repainted several times. When I went to Mrs. Elisabetta at reception to raise these issues, she said I was only there to get a discount. She didn't seem to care that the hovels she rents out can ruin an expensive, well-earned vacation. On arrival, she was complaining about her job and the tourists (!!??), and said negative reviews didn't matter because the residence is full anyway. Disheartening. Pure Ligurian hospitality at its best.

They make you feel at home instead of like a guest. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, and the hospitality was excellent. It's in a great location in Alassio, definitely one to consider for a stay.

Best forgotten. The bathroom is in terrible shape, the furniture is battered, and the water heater keeps switching between hot and cold. Air conditioning is only in one room. If you can, book somewhere else.
