Almaluna Hotel Resort

That last week of August was a wonderful stay. We had a spacious, modern, clean room, and the food was tasty and beautifully served. The beach is just a three-minute walk away, while the hotel stays tucked away from traffic noise. There’s a double pool and a big garden too, making it feel like an oasis. The Abruzzo evening was lovely. The dining room and kitchen staff deserve a lot of credit, you can really feel their great energy.

We booked a week in September with half board, and the hotel turned out even better than we expected. I picked it after reading other reviews, and I’m glad I did. The staff were consistently so friendly, the rooms were clean, and there was plenty of excellent food. We also enjoyed the Abruzzo-themed evening. We’d definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely week here with our eleven-month-old baby, and the staff agreed to prepare salt-free meals for the little one, which mattered a lot to us. The meals were well cooked, the rooms clean, and we were always greeted with a smile. Everyone was kind and helpful. Valentina, chef, and our lovely waitress Sara deserve a special mention. One of Alba Adriatica’s best hotels, in my view. Highly recommended!

Breakfast by the pool, with so many cakes and cookies to choose from, was a great way to start the day. The heated pools are beautiful, and the playground was a real help for us parents. We stayed in a clean, very nice triple room with a sea view, and the food was exquisite, with familiar dishes, unusual options, and plenty for children too. The Abruzzo evening was a lovely treat, and both it and the mid-August dinner were organized perfectly. The dinner had a wedding theme and even included a gift of olive oil. A huge thank-you to the room attendants, maintenance worker, receptionists, chefs, waiters, and Valentina for making our holiday special. For all they offer, I think the hotel deserves a fourth star. We’ll definitely come back.
