Hotel Boston

Absolutely fantastic.

Lovely.

I'm still here, but we're so satisfied I wanted to leave a review. The seafront is beautiful and well kept, the beach is just a few steps from the hotel, and bikes are included in the price. The only drawback for us is the room fridge. You can manage without one on a short stay, but it would be useful for a longer visit. Air conditioning costs extra, as the email summary says. As for the negative comments about the staff, I don't understand them. Everyone has been polite, smiling, and welcoming, every time. The cleaning staff do their job perfectly, and the rooms are always clean and smell nice. They use bleach in the toilet every morning, which makes me happy as a fan of it, and you notice the extra cleanliness. It's a truly lovely place.

The reception staff were very kind and understanding, and after a series of mix-ups they gave us a small discount. The problems were with other staff. In the morning, housekeeping shouted back and forth to communicate, then left drawers open and windows wide open. If we left the paid air conditioning running to cool the room, it was switched off. When I asked for something in the evening, the answer was, "I'm tired now, we'll talk about it tomorrow morning." The single room had air conditioning, a safe, and a hairdryer, all with charges. The bathroom had no shelves or cabinets.
