The owners were very kind, and the room was clean. I didn’t have the breakfast, which was pre-packaged. The bathroom shower was broken, with a panel missing from the stall.

The location is great, just steps from the center, with a lovely sea view. I spent two weeks at B&B Rosa dei Venti and had an excellent stay. It’s an elegant, carefully maintained property, with spacious, quiet rooms and every comfort. Everything was impeccably clean, and the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and ready to help. Breakfast came as a buffet with plenty of choice, including pastries, drinks, and coffee. I highly recommend it for a relaxing, comfortable stay with high-quality service.

The room was clean, and the furnishings were generally fine. There was even a nice piano. But we never saw the owners again after check-in, and that absence really mattered. The electric toilet made a constant noise when flushed, and the coffee machine kept leaking. Maybe that wouldn’t have happened if staff had been around. A receipt pad with all our personal details was left clearly visible on the breakfast table, and a dead plant had dropped all its leaves onto the floor. The B&B is in a great spot, just steps from the swing bridge, and you can see the sea from the breakfast room balcony window. Finding it was difficult, though: it’s on the fifth floor of a historic building that’s dilapidated and decaying, with an elevator that makes, to put it mildly, unsettling sounds. There’s no sign outside. At first we were confused, and someone at the bar across the street gave us keys for another establishment. Eventually the two owners greeted us, briefly explained the stay rules, and took our check-in documents. They hadn’t left us even a bottle of water, so in the middle of the night we had to go buy some to take headache medicine. Luckily, that was crucial for breakfast the next day. It’s a shame, because the place could be fine, but courtesy and someone being present make a difference.

The room was lovely, with a nice balcony where we could unwind in the evenings, and the price was just right. We stayed for two weeks, and the owners were very kind and came to clean every day. Breakfast was delicious, with the table always full of food. Many thanks, we’ll come back next time.
