Olympus Resort

Recidens made for a great holiday overall, and it's close to the partner beach. The renovated apartment was very nice, clean, and had kitchen utensils, towels, and bed linen. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of pastries. They charge €7 a day for parking, but there are plenty of free spaces on the street, and parking is easy to find. We hadn't known about that, and nobody told us. We also didn't have a parking disc. Housekeeping isn't provided, and you have to buy toilet paper. There's no dish drainer or dishwasher, though even a small one would have been nice. They do change the sheets and towels, but after four nights they came at 6:50 PM, when we were getting ready for dinner, which was inconvenient. We'll be back!

The staff were EXCELLENT. Every woman I met was incredibly kind and always ready to help. I stayed here with my boyfriend in early July, and everything was truly perfect. The location is great, only minutes from the beach and close to essentials like a supermarket and pharmacy. Our room was gorgeous, very clean, and had everything we needed. The price was far too fair for what the resort offers. P.S. If I come back to Alba Adriatica, I'd definitely stay here again.

The location is good, but that's about all I can say for this hotel. Our room was filthy when we arrived, with a dirty shower, a filthy kitchenette, broken furniture, and dust and hair everywhere. It looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. They wouldn't let us into the room until we'd paid. We didn't want to stay, but got no refund, and they even threatened to call the Carabinieri. The staff were extremely unfriendly. We moved to another hotel, but had already paid for breakfast, so we went back for it the next morning. That worked for one day. For the last three days, the door was locked. Checking out was a problem too, even though we'd kept our cards. Reception only opened at 2:30 PM, and four times we were left outside the door, unable to check out. Definitely not recommended.

The apartments are spacious and have kitchens, so they might work well for a longer stay. I was there for just one night and missed having a reception that stayed open, perhaps with a working bar. The rental bikes cost more than at nearby shops and were in terrible condition. I was left stranded, and nobody came to get me because reception closes at 9. Breakfast was downright poor for a four-star place. It was inconvenient too, since you pick it up at the bar and eat in your own room. Everything was packaged and sweet, and unfortunately, in my case only, both croissants were from the day before. Our room was handed over a little late, even though we showed up at 11 in the morning. It didn't feel like they were very willing to help customers, so it wasn't a positive experience for me.
