Cristallo Camere

The location didn't look very promising at first, but the kind woman handing over the room keys quickly changed my mind. The rooms are modern, roomy, quiet, spotlessly clean, and have all the comforts you'd want. Most of all, the bed, pillows, and mattress were so comfortable that we slept soundly. For that alone, I'd give it more than five stars. The price for the quality is more than fair, and the property is close to Alba's center. We'd happily return and recommend it.

Monique, the owner, was especially courteous and friendly. We found the rooms spotless, with very comfortable beds and a generously sized bathroom. It's also ideally placed near the center. If we come back to Alba, we'd choose Cristallo Camere again without hesitation.

We stayed at Cristallo Camere for the second year in a row, visiting in October during the truffle fair. The host was so kind and welcoming, and we're glad to leave her a note of thanks. Our room was more like a mini-apartment, with lots of space and everything we needed, plus a little extra. There was a comfortable sofa for relaxing, welcome snacks on the desk, and a handy kettle with tea, herbal teas, and coffee. Cleanliness was impeccable, easily the best of any place we've stayed. The bed was very comfortable, and the room looked onto a small inner courtyard. We slept well at night, and it would be quiet during the day too. Alba's center and the train/bus station are both about a pleasant 10-15 minute walk away. If you're driving, public parking is almost always available in front of the property. The price for the quality is another strong point, making for a very good stay. We'd recommend it to anyone visiting the beautiful Langhe. Thank you, Monique, and we hope to see you next year!
