Villa Trinacria Apartments

We spent 10 days in the sea-view villa and were very disappointed. The online photos don't match what we found. The house was dirty, including the dishes and cutlery, which were dirty and inedible, and the barbecue was dirty too. The fridge leaked, and the sofa bed was broken and held together with a rope. The bathrooms were broken and moldy, and the shower tray was covered in snot. She charged us €10 per person for dirty sheets and towels. There was one washing machine for four apartments. On arrival she told us people don't come on holiday to wash or iron. The owner also complained about our water use and limited electricity to 10 kW. She said nobody washed off the beach before coming into the house. I can believe that, since the shower was full of rust. With this cost and the condition of the villa, I can't recommend the rental. The value for money is unacceptable.

The owner was intrusive, rude, and aggressive. She shouted that “you don't wash on vacation,” and the whole stay felt hostile and stressful. Between that treatment, the dirt, poor service, awful linens, and the limits placed on water and electricity, it was a nightmare. We stayed 10 days, and the online photos gave no sense of the actual state of the apartment. As soon as we walked in there was a nauseating smell, and everything seemed dirty and neglected. The fridge was broken and leaking, the bed felt so unstable it was frightening to sit on, curtains were filthy, dishes were dirty, and there were no knives or forks. The garbage bins were inadequate too, so even basic tidiness was difficult. We had to pay an extra €20 for sheets and towels, which were worn, dirty, and terrible quality. Charging for such basics felt absurd, especially given the state of the place. One old, rusty, faulty washing machine was shared by four apartments, so we had long waits and constant inconvenience. We were accused of using too much water and given a ridiculous 10 kW electricity limit, despite paying for the full stay. Absolutely avoid it.

The value for money was very poor. We stayed four nights in the “Casa Corallo” apartment at Villa Trinacria, and it really wasn't suitable for eight people, with too little living space. There were serious maintenance and cleaning problems: the bathroom had no window and mold on the walls, the freezer compartment of the refrigerator didn't work, some dishes were dirty or unusable, the lighting was poor, and the mattresses had springs poking through. The microwave was so dirty it couldn't be used. With more investment in upkeep and personal attention, the property might be worthwhile.

The villa looks lovely from outside, and the location could have been handy for reaching beaches much better than the ones just a few metres away. But the apartment was disastrous. We rented one for 10 days in August, and there weren't even sheets or towels. The living room sofa bed had no mattress, the fridge wouldn't close and leaked, and the TV only showed black and white. Worst of all, there was no hot water. We needed one extra night at the last minute and were offered another apartment, but its stove and air conditioning didn't work. The air conditioning was finally fixed after three hours in the heat. The service was terrible, and the lady was very rude even after we reported all the problems. It's disgraceful that an agency would rent out homes in this condition. Your reply says everything. You're the one telling lies, and people aren't stupid; they can read what others have said about the awful state of the homes you rent. Instead of repeating lies, work on improving the service, and maybe you'll get better reviews in your favor.
