Out of the 22 campsites my father and I used on our bike ride from London-Venice, this was the best. It was peaceful, the scenery was beautiful, the food excellent, and the price very good. Funny how things get cheaper as soon as you leave the tourist towns!

This is a small, peaceful family-run campsite, tucked away from everything. They also have apartments and a restaurant for guests. We had very good food made with local produce, and their own apple juice was lovely. The family were welcoming and friendly, and the facilities were excellent, fairly new and well kept. We only stayed a night, but had a little wander around the village. From what we could see, there’s a good public swimming pool in the park and a few restaurants. Highly recommend for a short stay of 1-3 days.

The campsite isn’t very big, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The staff were friendly and got us set up, then we could grab something at the restaurant. The recipes are simple, but everything tasted good. The washroom building was clean and tidy, with two showers and toilets. There’s also a roofed area with benches and tables, where you can sit if it’s raining and you want to eat or make a cup of tea.

The staff were so friendly and took their time with us. Everything was nicely arranged, and I really enjoyed breakfast. The showers were great too. It’s a nice location, with plenty to do nearby. Thanks for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were welcoming, the food was delicious, and the facilities were very nice. There are nearby home routes and pretty old towns too. Definitely recommend it.
