The apartments are spacious enough for four people or more, and the prices are reasonable, at least for Modica 🤣. With a private pool, it’s also a peaceful place to relax. It makes a good base for exploring the lovely province of Ragusa.

It has a homey, family-run feel, with everyone being thoughtful and welcoming. The homemade food was delicious, prepared with their own homegrown products, and the price was great for what we got. There’s a lovely garden with cozy wooden gazebos tucked into the greenery, plus a pool that’s clean, well kept, and well equipped. The houses themselves were spotless and clearly cared for. From our first contact, the hostess was kind and helpful. When we arrived, her husband met us, walked us to the apartment, and shared his knowledge of Modica’s history and places to visit. We had a weekend at Casa del Carrubo and would happily recommend it for a relaxed stay with family or friends and plenty of good food. About the directions, I don’t think it’s hard to find: enter the property location in your GPS instead of the street address, and it should take you straight to the Casa del Carrubo car park.

We’ve come back for the third time because we’ve enjoyed every part of our stays. The owner and his daughter are so kind and always ready to help. There’s a pool and games for children, and the price is great. Definitely recommend it for families.
