Wellness Art & Wine Caren

Eleonora and the staff are fantastic. I've never experienced such kindness and thoughtfulness toward tourists. Truly excellent!

The location is convenient, though the building is older. I stayed the night of March 2, 2024. The owners were friendly, but there's no reception, and the hot tub only fits one person. I couldn't find a spa, unless it's somewhere else. The bathroom door was apparently broken, and we weren't told when booking. That's a significant shortcoming, since rooms need to be separated from any odors. The price stayed at the full €163, like a real spa. They need to correct the information they provide about services they don't offer. I'm sorry, but these days it's important to get your money's worth.

We spent a few days in the Langhe relaxing, and Hotel Wellness Art & Wine Caren was the perfect place for it. We could park for free nearby, and breakfast was available at a bar just a few steps away. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed both the connected restaurant and pizzeria. When we arrived, the owner Eleonora upgraded us to a more spacious room with a larger shower/tub than the one we'd booked, at no charge. She also gave us lots of tips for nearby places to visit and was extremely helpful. Recommended!

It could have been a great stay, but a few things spoiled it. We arrived to find that the room we'd been given after an unsolicited upgrade had no bathroom door. Not everyone is comfortable without a divider between the bedroom and bathroom. For just two nights over New Year's Eve, when prices are known to be inflated, we still had to pay €350. At the end of the stay, they asked us for another €50 because we'd extended it by about three hours, maybe less. The extra charge would have been €70, but after some discussion, it came to €50. P.S. Don't be fooled by the whirlpool tub. It's just a tub, and two people are cramped in it.
