We were there for just one night, so the basic room was manageable. Still, it needs some refurbishment. It didn't feel much like the agriturismo described in the listing, and cleanliness was an issue: the kitchenette dishes were dusty and dirty. The hairdryer cord had been badly patched with tape, which didn't seem safe.

Frederico was kind enough to take us in even though we'd booked the wrong dates, and he really helped after our difficult journey. With the restaurants closed and lunch missed, he put together a tasty plate of cheese and meat, then booked us a lovely dinner at La Torre, just a three-minute walk from the rooms. We enjoyed the meal there. Our room was simple, clean and comfortable, with a balcony looking over the hills and vineyards. Breakfast was very good too, especially the cake made with homegrown hazelnuts. We had a lovely two-night stay.

For the price, it's hard to complain. The owner was very nice and accommodating, though our room had a broken toilet seat and a few lights that didn't work. Breakfast was a bit limited, and some bread was stale. It's a very cheap place, but the rooms could be better.

Albaretto has a very good restaurant, Fillipo, with fine food, and it's a nice place too. The apartment was nice, in a beautiful Unesco area among vineyards, villages and castles.

It was peaceful, and I loved the breathtaking views. Francesco was welcoming and very helpful, and breakfast was fresh each morning. Such a beautiful place.
