Villa Ca Moneta Albavilla

Lucia was always smiling and attentive to whatever we needed, and made us a generous, delicious breakfast every morning. We spent a few days at Cà Moneta near the end of last summer, in a lovely old house set in a beautiful park. It felt like a peaceful little oasis. We'll definitely come back this year to enjoy both sightseeing and downtime in such a warm, welcoming place.

The park has plenty to enjoy, including a pool for cooling off and unwinding. Outside, the old atmosphere is everywhere, and it's easy to relax. There's also lots to explore nearby, from Alpe del Vicerè and Madonna del Ghisallo, beloved by cyclists, to Lake Como. The sunlit villa sits behind a sturdy 19th-century gate, among old trees and incredible hydrangeas. Inside, the furnishings are state-of-the-art and give guests every possible comfort while staying true to Italian tradition and the family's unmistakable taste. They've owned it for years and clearly look after every detail. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, with large, bright bathrooms.

I had a wonderful summer stay at Ca' Moneta. The grounds are stunning, and my room felt so welcoming that it was like being at home.
