The trullo is small, as you’d expect, but it has what you need for a comfortable stay. It’s beautifully and tastefully furnished inside a historic house, giving you a feel for what life in a trullo is like. People who give it one star over the small bathroom have missed the charm of the place and its surroundings. It’s right in the center, with parking 50 meters away for €6 all day. Highly recommended!

Leonardo, who manages the rental, was kind and accommodating. Casa De Carlo is clean, tidy, and simply furnished, with a small balcony and a breathtaking view. It’s a fantastic base for visiting Alberobello, right in the center.

The only reason for the one star is the central location. The bathroom needs renovating. It’s squeezed into a larger-than-usual shower stall with a toilet, bidet, tiny sink, and shower tray. There’s practically no way to use the bidet or sink.
