Trulli Holiday Resort

We had planned this vacation months ahead, and the hotel was always quick and excellent with email replies. On the way to Italy, a family medical emergency meant we had to turn around and cancel at the last minute. The staff were so kind and concerned, and when we said we hoped to come back in the future, they were very accommodating. I’m forever grateful for their empathy.

February was a lovely time for a cozy visit to Alberobello, with few tourists around. My night in Trullo number 54 was quiet and very pleasant. It was cold outside, but the heating kept me comfortably warm. The building is lovely and nicely decorated, with a kitchenette, a large, beautiful bathroom, and a small terrace. Breakfast had good Italian cappuccino, plenty of sweet pastries, homemade bread with good jam, and fruit.

The rooms and little houses are spread around the neighborhood, which gave us a real sense of privacy and local character. There’s a beautiful viewpoint just a two-minute walk away, with a view over the trulli rooftops and a magical sunset, just like the picture above. The atmosphere felt peaceful and romantic. We stayed at La Cummersa Trulli Holiday for one night, and that was enough to fall in love with the place. The welcome was warm, the trullo spotless, and check-in was quick and easy. They even showed us around our room when we arrived, which helped us feel comfortable right away. VALERIO deserves a special mention. His friendly smile at breakfast, along with his kindness and genuine hospitality, made the morning better. He made sure everyone started the day in a good mood. A perfect location, very clean, and such heartfelt service. Everything we could have wanted for a stay in Alberobello.

We really enjoyed spending two nights in one of the Trulli houses. Our place had a private courtyard with a little table, two chairs, and a hammock. Breakfast was served at a restaurant in town, with plenty to choose from and good service. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly, helped with parking and our bags, and answered our questions about the Trulli homes. The room itself was small, with the bed in the main room and a separate bathroom, but clean and comfortable. There was enough space for us, especially since we usually live in a tiny house. The unique experience made it worthwhile.
