Hotel Meublè Santa Chiara Suite

We loved having the deluxe suite as a quiet little haven. The room was beautiful, clean, and air conditioned, and it felt worth the climb up the stairs. Prices were reasonable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We really didn’t want to leave and would happily book again. The neighborhood was lively, with shops, restaurants, bars, and plenty to do. It’s a short walk to the metro, but once we were up in the room, it was peaceful.

A few hours before check-in, the hotel canceled our reservation, saying a system error had caused too many bookings for that room. By then, the other rooms were already three times the price. It seems strange they only noticed the issue a few hours beforehand instead of days earlier. Think carefully before booking, as you could end up with your stay in Naples ruined.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we had a great stay. It’s a nice hotel and well placed for exploring Naples. I’d recommend it and would gladly come back.

The room was clean, with good air conditioning and blackout shutters, and the front desk staff were good. But the shower had no hot water, even though the sink taps worked fine. It felt more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, and there wasn’t much else going for it.
