The price they show for the hotel is cheap, but once you arrive at this fraudulent place, they'll charge a €70 service fee even though my bill was only €40. Then there was another €8 tax and another €3 tax. Watch out, they ask for more than 200% of your bill after you get there, and they wouldn't even let me cancel.

A really good, clean place to stay. The manager was awesome and friendly, and they had everything a traveler needs.

Cleanliness, the location, and a comfortable bed were the high points of our stay at Palazzo 15. Cinzia was helpful and kind, too. The B&B sits right in the historic center, two streets below Spaccanapoli and about a five-minute walk from San Gregorio Armeno, the famous nativity scene street. Duomo metro station is three minutes away. If you're going to the airport, the Alibus stop at Varco Pisacane is also handy, around five minutes on foot. There were four practical snags that took away from the experience. We had planned to pay at the property, but two days before check-in we were told a POS problem, which had lasted several days, meant cards couldn't be used. We asked to pay by instant bank transfer, but couldn't get the IBAN because the owner wouldn't give it to staff. So we had to withdraw cash and pay bank fees. The hours were awkward for us as well: check-in is only after 10:00 AM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. With a morning flight in or a last day to explore, it would help to have luggage storage on site, but there isn't any. The property points guests to an outside facility called Chiara on the street. It opens at 9:30 AM and charges a fee. We found another option at Orzofer hardware store, opposite the Conad supermarket on the street corner, open from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The lift to the fourth floor only holds two people and takes a €0.20 coin per ride, paid by the guest. It'd be a nice gesture to include at least two rides a day in the room rate. Palazzo 15 has real potential, and we'd return for the location and cleanliness. We hope management sorts out these small organizational issues soon, because the B&B deserves better.
