Palazzo Settembrini 49

What made the stay for my partner and me was the staff. They were always available, friendly, attentive, and happy to answer questions or suggest things nearby. We felt at home. The apartment was clean, roomy, and nicely furnished, with modern comforts and local touches. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and evenings were fairly quiet. We felt safe in the lively but peaceful neighborhood. Public transport and good local restaurants were close. The waterfront was about a 45-minute walk, which sounds long, but we enjoyed the things to see along the way. We had an amazing experience in Naples, and everything exceeded our expectations.

Management was super friendly and informative, and they were available around the clock. The room was clean and the location was convenient, right by both Line 1 and Line 2 Metros. Just right for a city break.

This account is based on my own experience on 04.06.02023. I was attacked by people I believe were friends of the receptionist, and my phone and watch were stolen. The area felt very unsafe to me. I believe the hotel hires minors at reception who mix with local robbery gangs and scout guests' belongings, so I think people with expensive phones, sunglasses, or watches face a high chance of being robbed. I’d only stay here if travelling light. The staff speak well but were very unhelpful, and I believe they’re connected with local authorities, so complaints against them don’t get through.

The apartment was huge, airy, updated, and a great place to rent in Naples. A missing lock mechanism on the front door, a washer that didn’t spin the water out of our clothes, and a bedroom door without a knob kept it from a five-star review. If you’re staying in Naples, I’d recommend it, though I’d suggest Salerno or Sorrento instead.
