The owner was really friendly, and the silence here was unlike anywhere else I’ve slept in Italy. It’s a lovely choice if peace and quiet are what you want. Just know that you’ll need a car: it’s a few kilometres from pretty much everything nearby, and the road isn’t great. There’s no TV or internet either, so check that suits you before booking. To me, those are part of the place’s features rather than problems. I took off a star because there’s no sound insulation between apartments. If someone is staying nearby, you can hear every word. One tip: with an older car navigation system, the street might show up as "Via Scarola".

We spent two nights in this trullo. It’s quiet and close to all the services, and the owner is very helpful. Still, I came away disappointed: the place feels neglected, both outside and in terms of cleanliness indoors. We made do, so if you’re willing to adapt, you could give the experience a try.

Mr. Giuseppe was kind and welcoming, but I expected more attention to detail for the price. The trullo didn’t feel very clean: there was dust and hair all over, even in the refrigerator. The only sockets were small ones, so we couldn’t charge our phone. Such a shame.
