B&B al Pesce Vela

Top.

We were happy with our three night stay here with our two kids. The room had enough space for all of us, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was simple but enough to get the day going: toast, ham and cheese, croissants, fruit, pretty good coffee and juice. Good value for the price, and I’d recommend it.

The rooms are spacious, though they’re in the attic and have sloped ceilings. They’re nicely furnished, and the staff are attentive and friendly. The adjoining restaurant is also worth recommending. Breakfast is simple by Italian standards, but it’s fresh each day and served with care. They’re happy to accommodate extra requests. Being close to the road means some daytime noise, though it doesn’t take much away from the stay. Nights are quiet and restful.

The welcome and service were good, and the attic room had comfortable bedding and was very clean. But it was a triple room right by a busy road, and with no double glazing it was so noisy I couldn’t sleep, even with earplugs. Breakfast was mediocre, and the dining room wasn’t pleasant. The bathroom needs updating. Public parking outside fills up quickly.
