For a couple, or a couple with kids, this place feels like paradise. We stayed for 20 days in total and loved it so much that we came back twice to eat. The small house, around 65-70 m2, sits near the owners' house and has its own parking spot, separate garden, jacuzzi, lovely plants, and private access straight to a very clean, nearly empty beach. Compared with most Italian Spiaggias, it was especially clean. Fridays and weekends brought more people, but they were mostly quiet. The owners supplied simple umbrellas and beach chairs. Inside, the house was spotless and charming. There's a good bedroom with AC, a comfortable sofa bed in the living room, and a bunk-bed room that's quite small, with a bed better suited to children. The beach setting gave us a tropical kind of feeling, perfect for relaxing. A huge heartfelt hug to the owners for looking after us so well.

The view of the sea is spectacular, and the location is right on the beach, making this the most beautiful spot on the coast. The spacious areas are well maintained and furnished elegantly with high-quality pieces. Parking is simple in the large enclosed lot across from the house, which is monitored by video. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It's also a great base for trips to Scopello, San Vito lo Capo, Castellammare del Golfo, Trapani, Palermo, and Favignana. If you're after an unforgettable holiday in Sicily, this place deserves its five stars.

From this beautiful, welcoming house, you can step straight from its private terrace onto the free beach and the stunning sea of Alcamo Marina. A wonderful location, and I highly recommend it.

Please look very carefully before booking. We felt the house was a complete scam. The photos make it look like a large home directly on the beach, and booking.com doesn't say that the apartment is in a tourist complex where privacy is very limited. What we found was a small place set back from the main road, apparently a converted garage. It has walls on both sides, with a busy road right behind it, especially in the evening and at night. The bedroom window is beside that road. The large house shown in many of the photos is next door, where the landlord lives, and there's a camera on that house pointed directly at the apartment area. The price for this place was outrageous. What they call a terrace is a narrow path down to the sea, with hardly any shade during the day. The jacuzzi was filthy, and the kitchen was covered in thousands of ants. The washing machine looked disgusting. Cleaning cost an extra €150, and even after that it wasn't remotely clean. For that amount, you could spend ten hours cleaning yourself. We travel often but have never felt misled so blatantly by the description and the poor facilities. It's a shame that you have to accept something like this. We cancelled on the same day and, as expected, got no refund. We don't care about the money now. At least we got out of there.
