Roger and Stella are the perfect hosts. The rooms are beautiful and the food is wonderful. It’s an ideal base for western Sicily, with the airport, Palermo, archaeological sites, beaches, and nature preserves all within reach.

The unpaved road on the way there is worth taking for a little time to relax. Mrs. Stella and Mr. Antonio, the lovely couple who run this quaint Baglio, were so welcoming and helpful. It felt like staying at your grandparents’ house.

Stella spoiled us with her delicious food, and Antonio kept us entertained with his stories. We’re grateful for the evenings full of anecdotes and local tips. Those two could put together a fascinating guide to the area. Antonio and Stella own Baglio Fastuchera, but they’re also wonderful people who make you feel at home. Hugs from Roberta and Massimo.

The peaceful setting, surrounded by greenery, made this a place I’d recommend. We stayed over the August bank holiday weekend, and the hosts’ kindness, hospitality, and care with cleanliness made us feel right at home. The one drawback is the short road connecting the property to the provincial road. It’s unpaved, so you need to go slowly to avoid damaging your vehicle.

After just a few hours, you feel at home. Words don’t do justice to how welcoming, friendly, and helpful Stella and Antonio are. And the food... THANK YOU.
