We keep coming back, two years in a row so far, without hesitation. It's a family-run place, and Mrs. Rita pays close attention to what guests need, as well as to safety, cleanliness, and comfort. Breakfast is simple, but there's a homemade cake from the owner every day. Parking can be tricky when things are busy, though that's common across town. It's a five-minute walk to the square and its amenities. The location also works well for visiting nearby towns, local attractions, and natural sights.

The owners are so thoughtful about every request, and always sweet, kind, and friendly. The rooms were clean, with a large bathroom, and the location was quiet. Breakfast was excellent.

The owners are friendly and welcoming, and this newly built place has a nice family feel. Our room was always warm and clean, and breakfast was generous, with excellent homemade cakes. We had a relaxing stay and highly recommend it. Alfedena is about 20 minutes from the Aremogna ski slopes, and it's a charming place worth discovering.

I spent four nights here in August 2017 in a deluxe double room. It was spacious and clean, with all the towels we needed, and housekeeping came daily. Breakfast was delicious, including cakes made by the lady. Parking nearby was fairly easy.

Il Vicoletto is a great base in Alfedena, whether you're visiting for a weekend or a longer holiday, in summer or winter. The staff are helpful and friendly, with plenty of services and recommendations. The location is convenient for trips to Lake Barrea, the Campitelli plateau, Castel di Sangro, and Roccaraso. Exceptional.
