Parking was a real hassle with the place right in the city center. Inside, it was clean and tidy, and we had a pleasant night. There was no cutlery, though, and the shower had no hot water in the morning, which may bother some people.

The online check-in and checkout made things easy, and there’s a small shared spot where you can stop for coffee. It’s a comfortable place, and for such a central location, I think it’s good value.

The one thing we liked was being near the center, plus the large terrace, though a neighbor overlooks it and parking was difficult. The room itself was outdated and cramped, with a tiny shower clogged with hair and uncomfortable bedding. Noise was constant from neighbors, the doorbell, and construction, with no real soundproofing in any room. We could hear everything, including very private conversations. We’d booked three nights but left after the first. I let the owner know politely that we were leaving, without asking for money back and without any time pressure. We simply weren’t comfortable. The owner didn’t apologize and instead accused us of breaking the bed, then complained to the B&B website. We did not break the bed or anything else. Her response just reinforced my impression that unhappy guests get blamed for things. For what it offers, it’s far too expensive.

The owner was friendly, and being so central was convenient. But the room was bare, with nowhere to put clothes, and it was very noisy. We could hear everything on the sidewalk from our street-level room, as well as sounds from other rooms. It was also damp enough that the bathroom towels stayed wet, and they were never changed. We arrived to find that cleaning was only done every three days, which the website hadn’t mentioned. During our four-day stay, the room wasn’t cleaned, and the cleaner told us we weren’t entitled to it.
