Acqua Chiara

We’ll definitely come back to Acqua Chiara! The B&B is very well placed in Alghero, a short walk from the city beach and close to the lively center. Our room and the rest of the place were charming, beautiful, and super clean. We had what we needed, including a cozy bed, tasty coffee, a hair dryer, and even a parasol for the beach. Lamberto and Natalia were lovely hosts, friendly and always ready to help. :)

The breakfast was disappointing: it came as a 5-euro voucher per person for a nearby expensive coffee shop, and you’d likely need to pay extra to get a good breakfast. They offered coffee and tea at the house but no water to prepare them. The place is a room in a private house, on the first floor with no lift or parking lot. Our pillows and mattress weren’t good, and the bathing space was very small. A pipe from another bathroom ran through our room and made a lot of noise when someone flushed. Reception was all automatic WhatsApp messages, and nobody was there to show us around or explain the facilities or rules.

Lamberto was a really kind, friendly, open host. Delicios breakfast coupons got us a very tasty breakfast, and there’s free street parking. The place itself is cozy and really nice, close to Alghero’s beach and center. The rooms have coffee and tea, a hairdryer, and a smart TV. You can borrow beach mats and an umbrella too. Hope I can come back sometime!

We had to check out by 11 a.m., but our flight wasn’t until 9 p.m. The staff offered on their own to keep our luggage for a while, which was very helpful. Everyone was so nice, communication in English was easy, and they handled any extra requests promptly. Thanks so much for the stay. We recommend it and will definitely return.
