The walk to central Alghero takes about 20 minutes. It’s a nice stroll at sunset, though the heat can make it tough. The room was spacious, with all the amenities, and we found the mattress very comfortable. The host was friendly and attentive. There are several supermarkets nearby, plus a shared kitchen. You can’t cook there, but it has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and small terrace.

Cristina’s breakfasts were a real highlight. She made them herself each morning, with traditional Sardinian pastries, fresh fruit, and more, and served them in the attic overlooking the sea. The quality was on a par with what I’ve had in 4-star hotels. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, and Cristina was kind, attentive, and helpful. I felt at home the whole time. Highly recommended.

The terrace overlooking the sea is enchanting, and Cristina’s breakfast is superb. She makes it all herself, with something different each day, including cakes, Sardinian sweets, fruit, and yogurt. Cristina is a fantastic, welcoming host who’s ready with advice and directions for anything you might need. The property is near the sea and not far from the center, with shops within walking distance. I definitely recommend it.
