We toured by bike and were glad we could lock the bikes securely to the stair railing in the entrance. The terrace is shared, with somewhere to sit, a working 6kg washing machine, and a drying rack for each apartment. We were in Apartment C for three nights. It was comfortable, and the bed was firm but we slept well. The shower is small, though the hot water was plentiful and had good pressure. The three apartments are above a pizzeria. With the windows shut, we didn’t hear restaurant noise, but the bottle collection at 6:30am did wake us. The air conditioning is only in the lounge and kitchen, so a stand fan moves air into the bedroom. It worked for us, though it’s noisy on high. A few neglected details were frustrating. There was only one wine glass, and after we reported it on Saturday, two more arrived Monday. There weren’t enough teaspoons, the wine opener was partly broken, and the sink plug was too small to hold water. The frypans didn’t work directly on the induction hob, so we had to use the iron disc. It was too small for the large pan, which then wouldn’t heat enough, while the small pan’s warped base made poor contact. The managers should check the apartment between stays so it’s ready for the next guests. The cleanliness could be better too. After walking barefoot to the shower during our first few hours, our feet had picked up a noticeable amount of dirt. The floor seemed swept but not washed. The entrance tiles and upper deck were also quite dirty, so it was easy to track dirt inside. WiFi uploads were especially slow, which got frustrating at times.

Paolo was so caring and helpful during our stay. I asked him loads of questions about buses, taxis, and the hospital, and he even got me bus tickets, booked us a taxi to the airport, and called to check whether doctors were open when my mum felt unwell. Thank you, Paolo! The apartment was lovely and clean, with everything we needed. The restaurant downstairs had a nice atmosphere, with Italian people chatting and having fun, but no music, which was great. I didn’t try the food because my mum wasn’t feeling well, though I heard from someone at the neighbouring house that it was lovely.

We had a wonderful time in one of the apartments at the B&B Le Cicale. It was spacious and quiet, with a roomy bedroom, comfortable bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen. The owners were kind and available whenever we needed something. Fertilia is a great base for reaching beaches like Le Bombarde and Lazzaretto, and Alghero is close for going out at night. Buses to the beaches, Alghero, and the airport stop in the square in front of the church. The ride to the airport takes 10-15 minutes. We’ll definitely come back.

These are three well-kept one-bedroom apartments above the "Il Paguro" restaurant, with a separate entrance and a shared courtyard. The apartments were in excellent condition, seemed new, and had everything we needed. A cleaner came every four or five days to change the sheets and towels. The owner was courteous, honest, and very helpful. The village is small, about a half-hour bus ride from central Alghero. There’s a handy supermarket and a nearby bus stop for Alghero and the beaches. It’s a good choice for a peaceful holiday with plenty of comforts. Even with the bus close by, I’d recommend having a car to explore Sardinia’s beaches, coves, and sea views.

The hosts were incredibly friendly, and I’d recommend their restaurant. The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and had everything needed to cook for ourselves. There’s a supermarket around the corner and a bus stop nearby. We had a fantastic holiday!
