Hotel La Margherita & SPA

The rooms were good, and breakfast was great, with fantastic views. The pool and spa looked lovely, but we didn’t have time to try them. It’s a good hotel in an interesting town, right in the center, so parking can be very difficult if you arrive by car. No problem if you’re on a scooter! The photos show the breakfast bar on the 5th floor and the view from Rm 214.

I stayed for a week at this very pleasant hotel in a superb central spot. The rooftop gives you terrific panoramic views over the city and sea.

Room 408 was great, and the staff were amazing, so nice and helpful. The whole place was very clean, and you get way more than you’d expect for the price. The location is the best in town. We loved the pool, rooftop, food and balcony, everything was awesome.

I stayed for five nights and had a terrible experience. We had a reservation for five people, including a baby, but when I asked for a crib for my son, they refused. I found blankets and a duvet in the room and made him a little bed on the floor. That was okay until the next day, when housekeeping took them away and never brought them back. The bathroom flooded when I showered. After I complained, they moved us to another room, but it was even worse. The service felt extremely poor for a 3-star hotel. When I asked for hot water to prepare a bottle for my baby, they said they didn’t have any, even though the breakfast floor has coffee machines with hot water. When we let housekeeping clean, they didn’t change the towels. I had to sleep on dirty sheets because they weren’t changed, and the sand on the floor wasn’t even vacuumed. Thank God it was only five nights. It was a horrible, disappointing stay, and I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone. This is what happened to me.
