L'Oro Rosso

The breakfast alone was a wonderful surprise: Stefania serves a generous spread, mostly homemade. There were cakes, three kinds of jam, fresh bread, rusks, coffee made with the moka, tea, milk and apple juice. We also had freshly made toast, asparagus from nearby with the farm’s sweet oil, and polenta with Asiago and crisp crostini with their olive cream. I can’t remember everything else, but it was wonderful. The cherry jam was especially good, though sadly it isn’t for sale. Our six-person group of longtime friends booked three rooms for the April 25 long weekend, and we were glad we did. The B&B is a farmhouse set among the surrounding fields, in peaceful Colceresa, a charming village of rolling hills, light and colors that make every view memorable. It’s only a few kilometers from Marostica. Stefania and Paolo were warm, kind and always ready with local information and useful tips. They made us feel at home, like friends, within a few hours. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, almost like studios, and had well-equipped kitchenettes that would be useful for a longer stay. The terrace looking out over the green hills is priceless, and the place is great for resting and relaxing. Breakfast is served in a charming ground-floor room or, when the weather allows, on a veranda among the hills. AAA++: welcoming, charming and appetizing. The two pluses are for Stefania and Paolo. They’re lovely people, and we’ll be back very soon!

The hosts were so kind, and it was a real pleasure staying here. The place feels like a quiet retreat in the untouched countryside, with plenty of peace and relaxation. Rooms are spacious, clean and air-conditioned. It’s just a few kilometers from Marostica and other towns.

Breakfast was delicious and spectacular, with products grown at home. The welcome and kindness were unique, and made our stay very pleasant. A lovely spot tucked into the quiet hills. Highly recommended.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was exceptional. Our room was beautiful, spacious and welcoming, and even had a kitchen. The place feels like paradise, surrounded by greenery while still being well placed for Marostica and nearby towns.
