BB La Bouganville

We knew this place wasn’t in the city center, but it ended up being farther away than we expected. Inside, sound carries through the rooms: we could hear people talking and showering, even plugging in chargers. Other reviews had mentioned it, but we didn’t think it would be this bad. It was. There was someone else’s hair on the edge of both my pillowcase and my husband’s. The bathroom door also couldn’t be closed quietly, so we had to wedge a towel between the door and its track.

We stayed for two nights and found parking on the street each time. There are nice restaurants nearby, though the old town is about a 25-minute walk. The owner was super friendly, and everything was very clean and made with care. The room and bathroom are small, but fine for a few days, and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast cake was delicious. A few more hooks would be good. Thank you!

Gianni was courteous, quick to reply, and always made sure we were comfortable. The room was clean and looked like the pictures, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The apartment was also comfortable and well-equipped, and breakfast was generous: coffee, juice, fruit, an apricot croissant, homemade cake, toast, cheese, honey, and spreads. The location worked really well for us. The nearest white-sand beach is about a five-minute walk away, the Coop or Conad supermarket is six minutes away, and the main train and bus station, with connections to Sassari and the airport, is three minutes away.

A great deal, and we had a lovely vacation. The room was basic but always tidy. The staff were warm and kind, with lots of suggestions for places to see nearby. It’s close to the airport, beach, restaurants, and buses.
