The terrace with loungers was lovely, and there was even a beach umbrella and the beach mats needed for a trip to Stintino. Inside, the room was kept beautifully and was very clean; the bathroom was clean and adequate, and the kitchen had all kinds of utensils. The owner left fresh milk, yogurt, coffee pods including decaf, snacks, and breakfast items. I'd return and recommend the place for all of that. The one sour moment was her being rude when we left at 10:15 instead of 10:00. I felt she could have handled it differently, and it seemed really excessive and out of place. Even so, this deserves 5 stars.

There’s a market nearby, and some nice little restaurants along the promenade by the beaches. Back at the house, the terrace is a lovely place to watch the sunset over the sea. I arrived late in the morning and the owner welcomed me, then showed me the little apartment, which had everything I needed. They’d also prepared a gluten-free breakfast, even though I’d told them not to worry about it. That was very kind.

The terrace is big and great for eating or sunbathing, and the beach is just steps away. The house is beautifully furnished, carefully maintained, and spotless. Marina was always available and explained all the little details. Her kindness is unbelievable, which feels rare these days. We arrived to a tray of Sardinian sweets on the table, and the kitchen had everything: croissants, toast, biscuits, tea, Nesquik, coffee pods, yogurt, milk, juice, dishes, cookware, cutlery, and detergent. It's the first time I've had all of that provided. If you're visiting Alghero and don't want a hotel, you absolutely must stay here. Five stars because I can't give it more, this place deserves a thousand.
