A very good apartment at a reasonable price.

I really liked this cozy, comfortable apartment.

Federico gave us such a friendly welcome and was very attentive to how we were doing. The apartment was modern, well maintained, and very clean, and the private hot tub was the absolute highlight 😍 It was the perfect place to stay while exploring Alghero, and the apartment itself is really quiet. The one downside was a group of young guys who were very loud until 2 at night. That was the only negative during our stay. Otherwise, we highly recommend the apartment.

My experience with Limoni was the second-worst rental I've had. The worst was a house with mice. At first everything seemed fine and the apartment looked tidy. Then I opened the bathroom drawers and found loads of hairs. I thought it must be an oversight, but then found hair in the shower, a towel stained with foundation, an obviously used bedspread, hair on the nightstand, greasy pots and pans, food residue in the microwave, chairs that clearly hadn't been cleaned, and, last of all, MOLD in the air conditioner, with obvious health risks. I was annoyed and wrote to Federico and the girl who welcomed us to ask what was going on. Federico, the alleged perpetrator, didn't even reply. The girl, acting as a figurehead, started by apologizing and saying they'd fix it the next day, but these things couldn't be fixed with a couple more hours of cleaning. I asked not to pay for the first night since I basically couldn't shower or use the kitchen. She said no, I had to pay for their mistakes. She also said the price included a two-hour early check-in and parking, which I still don't see how that relates to mold and greasy pots. She said if I didn't like the place, I could have changed, as if dirt or mold were a matter of preference instead of obvious neglect and failure to do the job as a hotelier. Avoid this place. And be careful: if Federico gives you a good price by including parking and an early check-in of one or two hours, which nobody has charged for in 20 years, it means he'll save on cleaning! We soon found better places for even less. In response to the reply below: Federico, the game of criticizing reviewers is over. Instead of trying to discredit me and waste time disputing what's undeniable given the photos, I suggest you clean that air conditioner before someone gets a lung infection.
