The host seemed helpful at first, but I found him unreliable and overbearing, and he couldn't control his behavior. The apartment has a great sea view and location, but getting in means climbing 80 uncomfortable steps because there's no elevator. Inside, the walls were moldy, the roof leaked, and it was damp and cold even with the air conditioning. The kitchen tools and cookware were old and unusable. The mattress was filthy and stained, and the linens and pillows were yellow-stained too. The boiler only held enough for a quick shower without shampoo, and the shower stall and its uncomfortable curtain were moldy. Plug in two appliances and the electricity cuts out.

A lovely house with a kind host. I'd highly recommend it.
