The room was quite nice, but the place felt like a jail. The corridor is extremely narrow, and the rooms are so close together that you can hear what’s going on elsewhere in the building. It was really uncomfortable and didn’t look like the pictures. They never changed the towels, and when the toilet paper ran out, I didn’t get any more.
Getting information through WhatsApp was easy and everything was clear. My room was small but clean and pleasant, and it did the job. The location was great, about three minutes from the main bus stop and 200 metres from the sea. I had no complaints.
This was my worst experience. I booked through Booking, but a system problem cancelled my paid reservation, so I made another one. I tried contacting the owner a few times and explained what had happened, but he refused to refund me. I ended up paying twice. It felt rude and unfair, and was completely unacceptable.
They were very helpful with everything we needed, and the place was clean and pretty. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the historic centre. The service was very good.
It was fine overall, though the price for two nights felt a little high. I think hotels across Alghero, not just "Le Calette 105", could bring their prices down some.
