The owner is nice, and the place is close to the old town with a good view. Still, sleep was a real problem. Noise from the nearby bar was loud even with the windows shut, and you can hear everything in the corridor whenever guests come in. The shower was clogged and water flooded the bathroom, so it could use more maintenance. Getting there by car is also awkward: the street is accessible only at certain hours, and you can’t park there. It’s not a bad place, but don’t expect to sleep well.

We couldn’t sleep because it was so loud at night. The room itself was okay, with a lovely view and a central location, but after showering the whole bathroom was covered in water. There’s no parking, and finding a spot in Alghero was difficult even in late September, with so many cars around. I can only imagine how impossible it must be in August.

The owner was incredibly hospitable and helpful, even sending parking advice and suggestions for places to visit before we arrived. Check-in and check-out were easy and flexible. The room was very clean and nice, with what felt like the city’s best location and view. Highly recommend.

We found the room clean, though not especially cozy, and the breakfast was a typical spread of cookies, tea, bread, and marmalade. It worked perfectly for a stop on our round trip. I’d suggest it for a night or two.
