Welcomely - Casa Moraea

The sea is only a few minutes away on foot, though it wasn’t Sardinia’s best. The yellow-green water and seaweed may be because of the nearby port. The house was reasonably clean and came with dishes, towels, and sheets, but the shower drained so slowly that water collected in the tray. There’s no air conditioning, and the terrace’s low wall, about a meter high, looks over the shared courtyard. There’s no assigned parking, and finding a spot near the house isn’t easy.

The location made things easy: Conad is practically next door, the nearest beach is walkable, and the seafront gets lively in the evening with its bars and kiosks. Inside, the house has the essentials, including a private entrance, small front garden, roomy kitchen and living area, bathroom with shower and washing machine, and a bedroom. There’s also a little terrace for sitting outside or hanging laundry. Parking was the one hassle. I often used the Conad lot, but it was sometimes locked with a chain and padlock. Still, I was really happy with the stay.
