The room was perfectly clean, and we had a wonderful time. Everyone on staff was so nice, especially the receptionist, who gave us lots of tips on places to see nearby. The spa and breakfast were great. We hope to come back!

We had a lovely family weekend here. The building is old but nicely equipped, and the entertainment nights with the guy were really good.

The staff deserve 10/10, just don't email them, call them, or ask in person. The beds weren't good, and despite the website saying the Standard rooms had been renovated, ours definitely hadn't. I think the spa should stay open until at least 9pm, since it currently runs from 15pm to 8pm. Later, until 10 or 11pm, would be better, and I'd also appreciate morning access to the pool.

Room 202 felt stuck in the 19th century. It was very old and shabby, and the bathroom needs renovating. There’s no air conditioning, and at breakfast the restaurant gets very crowded. The staff were friendly and warm, but the room was far too small and below standard. There was barely any space between the bed and closet, so opening the closet normally was difficult.

The pool was pleasantly warm and quiet when we went for an evening swim. We stayed in one of the newer rooms, which was lovely and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly throughout. The food was great too. We’d happily stay again.
