Agriturismo Giardini Di Marzo

Stella is a lovely host. You can ask for dinner, and she was surprisingly helpful in sorting out a rental car while I was there. Highly recommend.

I only went to the restaurant. The setting is stunning, the service is good, and the food was really nice.

We stayed 11 days at Giardini di Marzo and felt at home right away. The area is lovely, easy to get around by car, and the sunsets are amazing. The agriturismo is clean, breakfast is delicious, and the hostess is such a kind, helpful person. Thanks to Stella and family. We’ll be back and hope to see you soon. Ciao, Daniela from Germany

I wouldn’t recommend staying here, even though the property itself is beautiful. When we arrived, the staff were kind and helpful and made us feel welcome, but that first impression didn’t last once we saw the room. There’s a small bathroom window, but none in the bedroom. The only opening is the front door, which faces a garden other guests can access. The entrance gate is also always open, so people can come in. Leaving the French window open would mean giving up privacy, which isn’t reasonable to expect in your room. With no bedroom window, the room gets unbearably hot and the air conditioning has to run all the time, including at night. It also kept leaking water. When we reported it, staff said we should have told them immediately because the unit clogs. The wall below it was completely moldy, as the attached photo shows. Damage like that takes time to develop, so it must have been there before we arrived. No one dealt with it, and they falsely and shamefully said it had happened in two days. The advertised Wi-Fi didn’t work at all in the room. When we asked, we were told, “It certainly doesn’t work in the room,” so it shouldn’t be listed as a service available there. Bathroom products advertised as complimentary on Booking.com were never provided during our four-day stay. Management said, “Aren’t there dispensers? I don’t go into the rooms, so you should have told us right away.” But a property manager should supervise the rooms as well as the other areas and services. They deducted €46 from our bill for the inconvenience. It’s a small amount, but can only be seen as an admission of liability.
